Mission and Goals

MISSION

The United States Chaplains Corps is a volunteer public service organization. We are Mission is simply this: To serve the Community and the Nation.

Members Chaplains Corps
 

Pledge to defend the Constitution of the United States of America; 

Shall uphold and defend the Bill of Rights, seen as inalienable and given by God to all free men that they might remain free; 

Shall ensure that all citizens, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, physical characteristics or national origin, retain their right and opportunity to practice the religion of their choice; such right and opportunity being established and guaranteed by that document which guides this great nation.
 
Finally, members are individuals who share compassion, love and care with all those in need.

THE CHAPLAIN'S ROLE
 
1.CHAPLAIN HAS MORE ROLES THAN ANY OTHER OFFICER, ESPECIALLY IN SENSITIVE AREAS.
 
2.CHAPLAIN IS MORE VISIBLE THAN MOST OFFICERS, THEREFORE HE/SHE MUST BE CREDIBLE, BE PROFESSIONALLY COMPETENT, "READ IN" ON THE MILITARY FUNCTION, KNOW THE MISSION, BE CONCERNED WITH THE TOTAL ENVIRRONMENT.
 
3.CHAPLAIN NEEDS TO KNOW MILITARY ASSETS AND SYSTEMS, AND HOW TO USE THEM.
 
4.IN HIS/HER COUNSELING, THE CHAPLAIN SHOULD EMPHASIZE PROFESSIONAL AS WELL AS SPIRITUAL ASPECTS. HE/SHE SHOULD BE A POSITIVE FORCE IN THE COMMAND.
